Allana Ferguson bio
Allana began her career with Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering several knee injuries through many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana added radio to the repertoire, and she makes regular appearances as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is also a qualified instructor. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare privilege of representing Australia in three distinct sporting events, including Rugby Sevens as well as Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL is out of the game. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears to the same ligaments when she was 15 or 17 years old, and then 20 and the fourth tear was a sign that her playing days were over. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS the JILLAROOS' player of the year had to quit in the midst of training due to a fourth left ACL injury. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training during November. She was a player in the women's rugby league for several seasons.
